Rapid relief for Seattle’s most vulnerable families

When the coronavirus pandemic began, the City of Seattle identified that many households were facing food insecurity. Based on their successful Fresh Bucks program that we support, the city turned to Trio Group to design, print, and mail over 9,000 emergency grocery vouchers.

The vouchers were designed with fraud-resistant features and translated into 14 languages that targeted priority communities in the city with heavy emphasis on populations that speak Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, and a range of Middle Eastern and African languages.

Within just a few weeks, the vouchers were designed, printed, and mailed to Seattle households, easing their burden during the stay-at-home orders of early 2020.
